TaggedFrog’s aim is to help you stay organized, to help you efficiently manage all your files. This free application uses the tag method to achieve this goal. Simply add the files you want to the library, assign them a tag, and you’re done. From the user friendly TaggedFrog interface you’ll be able to easily find and access any file you want.

TaggedFrog provides support for Windows XP and Windows 7. To get the application up and running on a machine powered by these Windows editions you must download a 1MB executable, run it, and click through the instructions presented by a setup wizard. It must be mentioned that this wizard will ask you to pick one of three languages: English, German, and Spanish. Even more languages are available from the Options menu, which you can use after you’re done installing TaggedFrog.

The TaggedFrog interface is divided into three main panels. The one in the upper left hand corner is the Library and Favorites panel. The panel to the right lists your tag cloud. Select a tag and the files carrying that tag will be presented in the panel down at the bottom. Even if you haven’t used a tag-based file manager in the past, you should quickly get accustomed to the application’s interface.

Adding files to the library is a simple drag and drop process. Just take the file you want and drag and drop it onto the interface. You will then be presented with an Add Items window that allows you to type in the tags you want to assign to that file, choose if you want to move the file before tagging, and pick if you want to automatically get tags from the file’s name or meta information.

TaggedFrog’s list of features includes the following: easily add items to the library, manually tag files, auto-tag function, import and export, support for multiple languages, launch at startup, automatically check for updates, manage the tag cloud, change the font settings for the tag cloud, filter, search function.

TaggedFrog is a free software.

Thanks to TaggedFrog you have an efficient, user friendly means of managing your files.
